Fire Proof

Fire Proof Materials are cement-based materials used as fire proofing systems
in the buildings and structures. These materials’ main usage is in insulating
steel, metal decking and other assemblies from the high temperatures found
during fire.

Fire proof insulation is designed to provide fire protection for steel structures.
This product is a cement based formulation which provides protection in any
environment where a medium density material is specified. The thermal
performance advantages of medium density result in reduced installed costs and
provide industry leading physical performance and application efficiencies that
are unsurpassed

Fireproof materials, also known as fire-retardants, are able to
withstand extremely high temperatures and are designed to help slow the spread
of a fire. Fireproof materials are able to reduce the flow of heat. Although
the materials may be called “fireproof,” no material is 100 percent
fireproof because all materials eventually are affected if temperatures are
high enough.
